North Seattle Community College Nursing Assistant-Certified program provides students with 72 hours of Clinical experience in long-term care facilities. Students work at their clinical sites on the day shift which is 6:20 am to 2:30 pm. Students are expected to arrive ready to work at 6:15 am.

Although the Washington State Code for Nursing Assistants (WAC 246-841-490) requires only 50 hours of clinical experience, North Seattle Community College believes that additional clinical experience provides its graduates with added confidence in providing competent and sensitive care to all types of clients.
