North Seattle Community College offers continuing education for Nursing Assistants-Certified as well as Nursing Assistants-Registered.

The following courses will be offered in 2009-2010

• Clinical Hospital Experience for NA-C's. This 3 credit  52-hour course is designed for NA-C's and NA-R's who wish to increase their skills for work in an acute care environment. Fall quarter
  
• Body Mechanics for the Healthcare Provider. This 1 credit 11-hour course is open to all healthcare providers who lift, transfer, position and transport patients. Winter quarter
• Nurse Delegation for the Nursing Assistant. This 1 credit 11-hour course is for NA-C's and NA-R's to learn how to understand and accept licensed Registered Nurse-delegated tasks for specific clients. Spring quarter
